Pass the Buck

A twist on a Gentlemen’s Buck, featuring both Bulleit Bourbon and Zacapa No. 23. This cocktail has notes of baking spices from the bourbon, syrup, and ginger beer, but also contains subtle notes of vanilla, raisin and brown sugar from the rum.

  • 1.5oz

    Bulliet Bourbon

  • 0.5oz

    Zacapa No. 23

  • 0.75oz

    Lemon juice

  • 0.5oz

    fresh-pressed apple juice

  • 0.5oz

    cranberry syrup

  • 1.5oz

    Ginger beer

  • 1

    cinnamon stick

Method

  • Method
    1. In a shaker tin, combine all ingredients (except for the ginger beer) with ice and shake hard.
    2. Pour approximately 1.5 oz of ginger beer into the rocks glass, then fine strain the remaining cocktail from the tin over the ginger beer.
    3. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
