First launched in 2011 to train bartenders in Pacific Asia, Diageo Bar Academy is an accredited bar training platform that has trained over 115,000 staff worldwide. Teaching foundational level courses to advanced, world-class workshops, bar professionals in over 40 countries can access our training. &nbsp;
The wider Diageo Bar Academy program also offers select WSET courses, which do have more limited availability depending on your country. &nbsp;

Diageo Bar Academy integrates the WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits as part of the Foundation course, allowing bar professionals to obtain this useful qualification.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Diageo Bar Academy Members can also complete WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits as a standalone, advanced learning course, as long as your country is part of the WSET Approved Providers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

WSET stands for 'The Wine &amp; Spirit Education Trust' and is a long-standing international body that teaches wines and spirits education. Founded in 1969, WSET offers authoritative courses that are recognized globally, allowing bartenders to obtain a suite of qualifications.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Diageo Bar Academy offers multiple courses to suit various skill levels and roles within the industry.
Beginners can browse the Essential modules, which offer standalone lessons covering product knowledge, customer service, and creating quality drinks. You can also access the Foundation course combining all these singular modules into a two-day session with the WSET Level 1 Award In Spirits qualification.
More experienced bar professionals can also explore the Advanced modules, which cover an in-depth study of high-level drink-making techniques, category spirits, and bar operations. You can complete these modules separately, but they are only available to Diageo Bar Academy members who have passed the Level 1 Exam.
You can also access World Class workshops that supply training to help aspiring bartenders prepare for competitions to become the next World Class Bartender of the Year.
Senior bartenders, managers and owners can also explore the Business of Bars course. This includes eight modules that provide tools and tips to help you improve your guest experience and get the most out of your venue.&nbsp;&nbsp;
