1.5oz Seagram's 7 Crown Blended Whisky
5oz Ginger Ale
1 Lemon twist
Equipment
1 Highball Glass
1 Bar Spoon
method
Add Seagram's 7 Crown, Ginger Ale, and ice to a Highball glass.
Stir well.
Add lemon twist.
Alcohol content:
15.8 g per serve

Highball's history dates back to the late Nineteenth Century. It is said to have oriGinated in Japan where it was oriGinally made with sake and water. The name "highball" comes from the Japanese word "hai," meaning "bowl," and "boru," meaning "to mix." The cocktail made its way to America in the early Twentieth Century where it became popular among the upper class. The classic highball recipe calls for two parts whisky to one part soda water, but there are many variations of the drink.
