History of the Drink
The history that can be traced back to Scotland in the 1930s or 1940s. The cocktail was invented as a way to enjoy Scotch Whiskey in a more approachable and flavourful way. It was made by combining the spirit with a splash of Drambuie, a sweet and aromatic liqueur made from Scotch Whiskey, honey, herbs and spices.
