We are excited to have Sembo Amirpour as a WORLD CLASS Brand Ambassador this year again. Sembo brings extensive experience in mixology and the highest level of motivation – truly embodying the WORLD CLASS spirit.
Among his various competition successes, his recognition as the "WORLD CLASS Bartender of the Year 2019 Germany" stands out. Winning this prestigious title marked the pinnacle of Sembo's active career as a bartender. In 2016, Sembo also achieved notable success by opening his bar, "The Old Jacob," in Bonn, immediately securing a spot in the Top 10 for "New Bar of the Year".
Following these personal achievements, Sembo now aims to share his knowledge and experiences with fellow bartenders, act as a mentor for younger talents, and provide his esteemed colleagues with a peer for discussion. Having won WORLD CLASS 2019 for Germany, he gained insights into processes, structures, and intentions that will aid him in fulfilling his role as a Brand Ambassador, guiding you effectively on your WORLD CLASS journey.

Julian brings 10 years of experience from the top gastronomy scene in Germany and Austria. Over the past 9 years he managed diverse brand portfolios within the barscene, drawing from a broad knowledge base and expertise.

Steven Lasner
As an industry and competition expert, Steven Lasner is once again supporting the Luxury Brand Ambassador Team of WORLD CLASS.
Steven acquired his comprehensive knowledge during his apprenticeship in hotel management and his studies in hotel business administration. Over 15 years, he has developed his bar expertise both nationally and internationally, including experiences at sea. Throughout his career, he has been predominantly involved in luxury hotels, highlighting his skills and deep understanding of Fine Drinking.
For the past 6 years, Steven has represented DIAGEO as a Scotch Whisky Brand Ambassador and has gained competition experience at WORLD CLASS as a BA. He aims to share his depth of knowledge with this years participants and actively support them on their competition journey.

Andreas Andricopoulos
This year, our Luxury Brand Ambassador Team for WORLD CLASS is strengthened by a seasoned mixologist with extensive experience and a vast network: Andreas Andricopoulos.
In his 20-year career in the beverage industry, he has held various positions as operations manager, bar manager, and renowned bartender. Additionally, Andreas is a co-founder of the Milkpunchboys and, since 2024, has been working as a consultant with his Mix it Up Agency.
With his extensive expertise and participation in over 40 cocktail competitions, he looks forward to sharing his passion for mixing and his knowledge as a WORLD CLASS Judge with the bartender community this year. Andreas is excited to be inspired by your innovative drink creations.
